We are currently looking to fill a Business Systems Analyst position and a Business Intelligence Developer position for a property and casualty insurance company in Houston.  This department is in “start-up” mode, so we are looking for someone who is interested in being involved in the ground floor of building, developing and managing the core insurance systems for this organization.  The Company does not support H1B Visa sponsorships.

Business Systems Analyst

Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of systems analyst experience is required.  Commercial multi-line or P&C insurance industry experience is required for this position.  Must have the ability and experience to assess business impacts and risks and constructively engage with the technology team to solve short-term problems and recommend, design and assist in the implementation of long-term service/process improvement changes.

Business Intelligence Developer

Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years working with relation/dimensional databases, SQL, Oracle, DB2, and Informix.  Must be familiar with Star Schemas.  Knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Hyperian, Business Objects, Cognos or other BI tools.  Knowledge of ETL tolls such as Data Stage, Microsoft SSIS or other ETL tools.  Experience with working with all areas of full lifecycle projects required.  Multi-line or P&C insurance industry experience is a plus but not required.
